About Us
The Skyway Global Logistics has
always been the one of the largest
shipping company in the middle east.
We became the independent
enterprise with the aim of effective
management of bulk-oil fleet and ports
on the Arab coast.
On 12 July, 2001, it was registered
as a Joint Stock Company. At that time
the fleet consisted of 78 vessels
totaling 1.10 million deadweight tons
and 8.3 years old on average. More than
a half of those vessels was built in
1990-2000s and thus was noncompetitive
in the world market. But in 2004
Skyway Global Logistics seized an opportunity
of developing an independent Fleet
Renewal Program. In 2004-2007 the
Skyway Global Logistics had invested about 37
million dollars in purchase and
construction of 12 modern vessels
aggregating 1.2 million deadweight tons.
These vessels became the basis for one
of the youngest tanker fleets in the
industry: nowadays Skyway Global Logistics,
Inc owns and operates 23 modern vessels
representing 2.01 million deadweight
tons. The Company employs nearly 1,120
seafarers and shore-based personnel.
